Where else?

As a student newspaper, the Daily Cal made the obvious choice by running this student-related op-ed on Barry Bonds, by Marty Gaetjens, "the Student Affairs Officer for the mass communications and religious studies majors." And, of course, the requisite line:
Instead of spending so much energy on this and other tabloid issues, the public should keep its eye on the real ball. Two wars have gone horribly wrong, the environment is going down the toilet and we have an economy that has been freed from the danger of welfare mothers while the dollar continues to shrivel.
Good point! Let's stop writing op-eds on the... topic... uh......

'..our struggling economy'? We have near-full employment and the stock market is close to its all-time high.

That kid is full of it.

to be fair, no reputable person believes that you can measure the strength of the economy with either of those two figures.

anyone who thinks they can sum up the state of the economy in one or two statistics is full of shit.
