Yay?

So, apparently, this year's Daily Cal endorsement forum is going to be far more boring. There will be no candidate speeches. Instead, it'll be entirely through question and answer. What's more, some questions are there specifically at the request of Nad Permaul and Dean Poullard. I guess they want to make sure things are best suited for their tools to win.

Maybe with the new format, Student Action will actually show up, instead of arrograntly boycotting as they did last year.

Well, I imagine the format was chosen to accomodate them. That's probably why the university is stepping in and trying to control it. I just wish the Daily Cal had the balls to stand up for itself.

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

Yeah, that's going to be a horrible forum, and it's upsetting to think that the Daily Cal (an INDEPENDENT newspaper) is going to basically allow university employees to determine how the endorsements are dealt out.

On a side note, apparently only a few of the candidates have been contacted about the forum and its rules.

It's supposedly on Thursday, but I haven't heard shit from them.

WAY TO GO DAILY CAL! YOU'RE AWESOME!

It's on Friday, according to what I got. It was sent to somebody in each party. I don't know how they chose that somebody.
