In defense of the Daily Cal, I believe they did write a story about the CalSERVE candidates when their slate was announced a few weeks ago. However, the Daily Cal has not been good at explaining why there are parties at all -- and the history, constituencies, and current issues of the parties -- which much of their readership will not know. I hope they do that before the election proper.
