Award Time!

The award for most misleading/false campaign claim is out early this year. From Student Action:

$10 RSF Membership: DONE

I guess they're getting started lying early this year.

Putting aside the question of whether this was really DONE by Student Action (I recall broad support from most parties and passage via student body vote), recall that membership is now $50. It just happens that $40 of it is mandatory regardless of whether or not you join up. I guess "Raised fees by $40: DONE" doesn't sound as catchy.

Has there been any good overview DC articles that say how the election is shaping up? I don't know either of the slates, but I'm wondering if there has been any educated handicapping about how the race is looking.

This person says these folks are running. I haven't seen any candidate posters.

The DC hasn't mentioned anything about an election going on, really.

I will be able to guarantee a BEARS-United sweep by the beginning of next month.
