The Daily Cal isn't worried about privacy when voter registration nuts go to the dorms:
Despite the benefits, residence hall residents are right to be concerned about a loss of privacy. But ASUC officials such as Andy Kelly, director of campus mobilization with the ASUC Office of External Affairs, have made promises to guard the intimacy of student living.
Well hey, if an ASUC official makes vague promises, you know they'll be kept.

Here's the thing, if they'd let us, Cal Dems would be the Jehovah's Witnesses of the dorms. We'd knock on every first year's door to get the votes.

RSSP/RHA is constantly telling the ASUC to stay away from their turf and stick to the campus. It was nice when ASUC senators would come out to Hall Association meetings to talk about the cool stuff that was coming up, but it tended to blend in to all the other "cool" things we were doing.
