I'm perplexed!!

How about them drugs!!!

"Under 78, there is no guarantee that anything will happen," said City Councilmember Kriss Worthington, who wrote the bill endorsing Proposition 79.

In an unrelated comment which detracts nothing from Worthington's justification, under 79, there is no guarantee that anything will happen.

Actually, Prop 79 includes language that makes discount program participation enforceable - which is why the drug companies are opposed to it.

Prop 79 WOULD get cheaper prescriptions for those who need them most...

Nothing in this world is ever guaranteed, but Prop 79 could make a real difference in the cost of drugs. Prop 78, on the other hand is designed to fail, and designed to confuse voters.

Sorry, dude, the feds can tank it. Therefore, no guarantee. Of course, this is politicospam, so I wonder if I'm doing the world an injustice by responding.
