Hehe. Boston is funny

Locals are pretty boring now. Good thing New Englanders can pick up the slack.

Erin Miller says

If the measure of a democracy is its success in protecting the most vulnerable, it's startlingly clear that the United States no longer qualifies.

Well, it's a good thing that's not the measure of a democracy, then, isn't it? Once again, I'll try to explain it:

"Democracy" is the whole votey thingie. It doesn't have to do with economic stability, wealth, happiness, diversity, or whatever. It's the votey thingie. Now, some of these things are a consequence of the votey thingie, but democracy is still the votey thingie.

Geez, try a dictionary before you make yourself look stupid. What was your gpa in college -- below 3.0 I bet.

"Deomcracy: the principle of equality of rights, opportunity, and treatment, or the practice of this principle"

My dictionary disagrees with you.

I can't find "Deomcracy" in my dictionary.

as if this really needs to be said:

"Government by the people, exercised either directly or through elected representatives"

Notice you dodged the gpa question. I've heard you weren't the brightest student at Cal as an undergrad.

Try Webster's New World dictionary instead of whatever piece of crap you use.

Yes he is, Mister Dumbass caller. And before he was a grad student, he was an undergrad. What -- you don't think undergrads with lousy gpa's can't get into grad school. Pretty naive of you.

The silence speaks very loudly here.

I just gave you that double negative on purpose cuz you SO love nitpicking little details. Yes, it should say "you think undergrads with lousy gpa's can't get into grad school?"

And by the way, Mr Dumbass caller -- did you notice the past tense in referring to his ug years in the original post? Better check that mirror before you go calling someone a dumbass, mr pot. Or are you mr kettle?
