I can see my house!
As some people know, the Hubble telescope's future is in doubt. Said NASA dude Sean O'Keefe, "Dude, you know how difficult it is to fly a damn shuttle up there?" But The Boston Globe knows not to trust the damn Irish. The Hubble might come crashing down in 2007, and the replacement isn't going up 'till 2011 or later. "Astronomers should not have to go several years without a space telescope." Because who knows when the universe might suddenly start running away, or making silly faces at us? We made it through millenia without a space telescope, but those were lucky years. We'll never make it through four more. (Quotes and attributed opinions are approximate)
Until someone makes an argument better than "The Hubble is really really cool!" I'm going to have to side with the administration on this one.
