Happy Day of the Year!!! It's the 4th of July! The day where we blow things up in order to celebrate the anniversary of July 4, 1776, a day of relatively middling importancce in our country's history. If you don't get it, don't feel bad, because I don't, either. Now, don't get me wrong, I love this country as a place to live. I just choose to love it 365.2425 days a year, on average, rather than giving it a gratuitous day of love and then forgetting it. It's like a birthday. Supposedly, it is a birthday, though one would be hard-pressed to give a good reason why that particular day could be called the country's birth.
