We need more money! Spend more!

Suppose you're a union and feel you are underpaid by your employer. What do you do?

Apparently, you ask your employer to spend more money on things that aren't your wages. Like uniforms.

To illustrate the conditions facing workers, sophomore Katie Hills chained herself to a sewing machine with a fellow student.

"I think it's really important to provide a visual of what the workers who are making the Cal gear are going through," Hills said.

So... the conditions are that people are chained to sewing machines (but probably not required to sew on them) with chains they can get out of whenever they want, while in the midst of a bunch of supportive people? Maybe I should get in on this sweatshop labor thing.
